Lightweight. That's the first word that comes to mind when picking up this 5.9 lbs Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster. Modeled after the a legendary 1961 Fender Stratocaster, this Wildwood Music collaboration is constructed of very desirable specs: dark CITES AAA rosewood fretboard, lightweight Paulownia body, dark/faded sunburst and 10" radius. To top it all off, Wildwood 10 models are outfitted with a set of hand wound pickups. We love these specs and seldom encounter so many desirable characteristics in one guitar. With only light aging (Journeyman), this lightweight Strat will likely see a lot more wear over time. What else would you want to have strapped on your shoulders for hours on end?
