This Princeton was built in February of 1965. The front and back panel both feature FEIC badging, indicating the amp was built with Pre-CBS parts. On the rear of the amp there are two large drill holes through the chassis, one of which removed the serial number. Otherwise the full scope of the Fender Blackface sound is on display here - presenting itself as a great example of the non-reverb Princeton. Compared to the reverb counterpart you can expect these to have a little less gain, and therefore more headroom - which means it serves very well as a clean or pedal platform. Internally the power cord has been changed, along with the bias cap - otherwise its all original! The front baffle has also been replaced, but it seems to have retained the original grillcloth and 1964 Oxford speaker.
Despite being fully functional the buyer should note this amp has long expired electrolytic capacitors. Should someone need prolonged or gigging use from this piece then servicing would be advised.
