The Fender Princeton has quickly become the preferred size and wattage among Nashville guitar players. The brown-era 6G2 model has even been immortalized as a reissue, thanks to Chris Stapleton, who named it his all-time favorite live amp. This 1961 amp is in excellent condition, showing only minor signs of previous wear. The tube chart on the inner left side has mostly disintegrated, but a small piece of it still remains. Fortunately, the rest of the amp has stayed nearly completely stock, with the only change being the power cord. All of the internal components are original, including the famous "blue molded" Ajax coupling capacitors. The tremolo sounds fantastic on this amp!
While fully functional, the buyer should note that this amp has all original electronics, including electrolytic caps that have long since expired. For optimal performance, whether for gigging or otherwise, servicing is recommended (cap job, power tube bias, etc.).
