Most people have never seen one of these, and frankly, neither have we! The Vibrasonic amps were built in limited quantities in the early '60s, mostly to fill a more specific niche in the amp market. You can essentially think of this 6G13 as identical to the 6G5 Pro, with the main difference being a much larger output transformer! The cabinet has also been upsized, delivering a big sound through a single JBL 15".

Other than being re-covered, this amp has remained mostly unchanged. The power cord, bias, and preamp electrolytic caps (1969 parts) have been replaced. The filter caps are still original, so the buyer may want to consider replacing them for longevity. Aside from two swapped coupling caps in the preamp, the rest is original! This would be an excellent option for a steel player or a guitarist needing a larger sonic footprint.
*When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
