Description

The 1960 Gibson ES-175 is a classic example of Gibson’s full-depth electric archtop, offering the familiar combination of a carved spruce top and laminated maple body. This example retains a clean appearance with light finish checking that adds some natural character to the sunburst finish. The original tuners have been replaced, and the nut has been shimmed for proper fit and function. Overall, it remains in excellent condition and is a great representation of the ES-175 from this period.
