This 1946 Martin 000-28 is an outstanding player, showcasing a Sitka Spruce top and beautifully straight-grained Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. It produces a warm, responsive tone that any singer-songwriter would appreciate, and the full C-profile neck offers a comfortable feel. Over the years, the guitar has undergone several professional-grade repairs, including a replaced nut, refret, neck reset, maple plugs on the original bridge plate, bridge reglue, replaced saddle, and repairs to two pickguard cracks as well as the top center seam crack. Despite these repairs, the work has been executed with exceptional skill, resulting in a guitar that plays like a dream. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better playing and sounding 000 from 1946.
