The 1929 Martin 2-28 is a small-bodied, 12-fret tenor acoustic guitar built with Martin’s renowned craftsmanship. Featuring a Brazilian rosewood back and sides paired with an Adirondack spruce top, it delivers a clear, articulate tone with remarkable depth for its size. The ebony fingerboard, and delicate herringbone purfling add to its vintage charm. As one of the last 2-28 models produced before being discontinued, this guitar represents a fine example of Martin’s pre-war era of small-bodied instruments, prized for their responsiveness and tonal balance.
