This 2019 Slope D Custom pairs an Adirondack spruce top with Madagascar rosewood back and sides, offering a full, rounded response with clear bass and strong fundamental notes. Adirondack spruce brings headroom and clarity, while the Madagascar rosewood adds depth and overtone complexity. The natural finish keeps the look understated and allows the wood grain to stand out. Cosmetically, it remains in excellent condition with no notable wear. A nicely appointed custom build that highlights Bourgeois’ approach to the slope-shoulder dreadnought.
