This Collings 03 Maple 12-String is a rare find. It features a German spruce top, flamed maple back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and beautiful appointments including tortoise shell binding with ivoroid purfling, and an elegant abalone rosette. The German spruce top paired with the 12-fret 0-size body delivers the clarity, articulation, and depth Collings is known for. This instrument is finished with varnish rather than lacquer, a feature that is no longer offered by Collings on their guitars. It comes pre-equipped with a K&K Pure Mini Pickup and a strap button installed at the heel, making it ready for stage and studio. This example is exceptionally clean bearing only minor scratches and swirls from playwear and comes in its original hardshell case.
