This 2018 Collings CJ Short Scale is a joy to play, with excellent balance and clarity across the entire frequency spectrum. The guitar is very responsive and articulate, delivering the even, refined tone Collings instruments are known for. Overall, the guitar is in good condition. It shows normal signs of use, including various dings and scratches throughout. There is a noticeable hairline finish scrape on the top, but it is cosmetic only and does not affect the structure or playability of the instrument. The guitar is structurally stable, plays effortlessly, and sounds outstanding.
