The fully-hollow Ladybird® occupies its own unique corner in the Collings electric lineup. Loose and buoyant, it possesses a vintage character reminiscent of 1960’s single-cut guitars, while a 24 1/8″ scale length – the shortest in our electric lineup – adds to the instrument’s uniquely expressive feel.
Custom-voiced Righteous Sound pickups were created specifically for this model. In capable hands, these pickups can move the Ladybird® from a whisper to a howl, all while retaining the note clarity for which Collings is known.
Available in either Satin Teal or Antiqued Jet Black, each finish is complemented by leopard tortoise binding and matching tortoise inlays set directly into the pickups. A rosewood bridge, trapeze tailpiece, and Davies Radio knobs round out the retro-forward aesthetic.
