Description

This 2024 Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Telecaster Journeyman blends traditional Telecaster elements with a few modern appointments. The body shows a lightly aged Journeyman relic treatment, with subtle wear patterns and finish checking that give it a broken-in appearance without heavy distressing. Its construction delivers a clear, immediate response with a tight low end and defined upper register. The electronics pair a Wide Range-style pickup with a loaded ’51 Nocaster pickup, offering a mix of fuller humbucking character and a more direct single-coil response. This combination provides a broader tonal range while maintaining clarity and note separation. Overall, it remains a clean and well-executed Custom Shop build, with the relic work limited to light cosmetic aging rather than structural wear.
