The neck is dated TG 9-54 and pairs with the original single-pickup layout that defines the model’s direct approach. The body has been refinished in Blonde, and the neck has received a refret, with the original nut slots filled and re-filed. The tuners are oringal to the guitar, and are functional, but modern replacements would likely enhance tuning stability. The bridge pickup has been rewound for a fuller, more responsive sound, and the walnut back strip has been re-glued. Hardware and core components remain consistent with a mid-1954 example.
