This 1965 Fender Jazz Bass has been refinished in Burgundy Mist Metallic, giving it a striking presence while keeping the mid-’60s lines intact. It’s been refretted and fitted with a replacement nut, bringing the playability up to modern expectations without altering the feel of the neck. The wiring harness was fully redone with plastic wiring, with the original bridge pickup, bridge volume pot, and tone pot still in place, while the neck pickup and its volume pot were replaced. The finish shows nice aging, with an even look that contrasts with the natural aging of the hardware. Plugged in, the bass offers a strong, articulate response. A distinctive example of the era with a number of functional updates along the way.

Includes late 60's Fender hard shell case.
