Fender Jazz Bass 1965, Sunburst

This 1965 Fender Jazz Bass pairs the sleek offset body and versatile dual-pickup layout of one of Fender’s most enduring bass designs with a classic Sunburst finish. The combination of independent pickup volume controls and a master tone control allows for a wide range of sounds, from the focused bite of the bridge pickup to the fuller, rounded voice of the neck pickup. Its slim body contours and offset balance give the Jazz Bass a distinctive playing feel, while the mid-sixties appointments capture the character of the period. The pickguard has a broken corner, with the detached tip included in the case pocket, and the bridge cover is missing. There is wear around the edges with some buckle rash to note as well.
