This is one of the earliest TV-front Princeton amps, sharing a similar design with the Champs of the era but with the addition of a tone control. The preamp features a single 6SC7 octal tube, giving the amp a distinct midrange character that sets it apart from the later 9-pin versions. The original handle has been changed to a leather strip.
Internally, the electrolytic caps have been replaced and housed inside the original cardboard sleeves, along with two coupling caps that were changed to later vintage equivalents. Otherwise, the circuit remains all original.
