The Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster was developed to reflect many of the features that defined Vaughan's well-known Number One, while remaining a production instrument with its own identity. This 90s example combines a substantial neck profile and gold hardware with the classic three single-coil configuration that helped make the model instantly recognizable. Finished in Sunburst, it represents the early years of one of Fender's longest-running artist models. It incorporates many of the details he preferred into a cohesive, purpose-built design. Decades after its introduction, the SRV Stratocaster remains a distinctive chapter in Fender's signature lineup and an interesting snapshot of the era that produced it.
