Description
A well-played pre-CBS Stratocaster tells its story through years of use, and this 1963 example wears that history with confidence. Finished in Sunburst, it retains the unmistakable feel and response that made early-'60s Stratocasters a fixture across countless recordings, while a refret and replacement nut keep it ready for many more years of playing. The front of the headstock has been refinished with a replaced logo, the back has received an overspray, and the replacement tone pot and cap reflect maintenance performed over the course of its life. Heavy wear in the treble-side cutaway, substantial buckle rash, and edge wear are the cosmetic notes contributing to its vintage mojo.
