This 1966 Fender Stratocaster began life during a transitional period for the model and is finished in a professionally refinished Sunburst that complements its classic mid-'60s look. It has undergone a number of updates over the years, including a refret, refinishing of the body and headstock face with a replacement logo, a replacement pickguard, 5-way switch, tremolo block, and A-string intonation screw, along with shielding paint in the control cavity and spliced jack wiring. Mild player wear around the body edges gives the guitar the appearance of an instrument that has continued to see regular use following its restoration. While no longer fully original, it retains the unmistakable feel and sound of a vintage Stratocaster, offering a practical way into a genuine mid-'60s Fender with decades of playing history behind it.
Includes Mid-60s Fender case.
