This 1978 Strat is a great-playing and great-sounding guitar that delivers everything you'd hope for from a vintage-era Fender. Notably, it's on the lighter side for a Strat of this period, making it comfortable to hold for extended sessions while retaining all the character and presence of a late-'70s instrument.
The original frets still play very well, and the neck features a comfortable, symmetrical C-shaped profile that feels substantial without being overly large. It offers an easy, familiar playing experience up and down the fingerboard.
Tonally, it's classic Stratocaster through and through, with clear, articulate highs, a glassy response, and the versatility that has made the model a staple across countless genres.
The guitar remains in great overall condition, showing the expected signs of honest wear that accompany an instrument of this age while retaining excellent playability and appeal.
Includes a later Fender HSC.
