This Telecaster is a wandering misfit that also carries a good chunk of guitar history with it. The body and neck come from different origins - the neck a '58 and the body a blonde '63. And in the early 70s, it underwent its biggest change: an installation of an early Evans Custom Engineering B-Bender. With original paperwork and letters from Dale Evans, it's undeniably a pioneer of the 70s country craze.
B-Bender magic aside, this guitar is just a great Tele! The neck has a nice "V" carve to it and our in-house repair team performed a fantastic refret making the neck incredibly comfortable. The body has the original pickups, however they have been rewound (one was rewound by us in-house and the other had been done previously), along with a changed volume pot. Some swapped hardware including the knobs, saddles and a 3-way switch have kept it in great playing shape as well.
Includes OHSC with several cool stickers.
