This 2026 Furch Red Dc-LR Anthem is a cutaway dreadnought built with an Alpine spruce top and master-grade Indian rosewood back and sides. Both plates undergo Furch’s individual voicing process, where the soundboard and back are carefully tuned during construction. The body is finished in Furch’s Full-Pore High-Gloss lacquer, a thin protective finish designed to preserve the wood’s natural resonance. This example is also equipped with LR Baggs Anthem electronics.
Appointments include koa body binding with a white contrast line, abalone purfling, and a koa rosette with abalone inlay. The bridge, fingerboard, and headstock overlay are made from figured ziricote, complemented by pearl leaf inlays and abalone headstock details. An African mahogany neck is shaped to Furch’s Soft V profile and reinforced with the CNR System, which houses a dual-action truss rod within a rigid carbon structure for precise adjustment. Gotoh 510 Silver Patina tuners with ebony buttons provide smooth tuning with a 21:1 gear ratio.
Includes OHSC.
