Description

This 1992 Gibson Chet Atkins SST features a solidbody design with a thinline profile and traditional Chet Atkins appointments. Built with a spruce top and mahogany body, it utilizes Gibson’s piezo bridge system and onboard active electronics for its amplified voice. These models were widely used by 90s country artists in live performance for the acoustic-like tone at a high volume with little to no feedback. The mahogany neck is paired with a bound fingerboard and pearl Star-shaped inlays, maintaining the model’s clean, understated aesthetic. Cosmetically, there is pickwear, checking and notable finish dings, but no structural damage.
