This 1965 Gibson ES-345 in Sunburst is a mid-’60s semi-hollow with a clear, focused response and a warm midrange character. The laminated maple body and center block construction keep the low end controlled while maintaining an open, resonant quality. It contains a set of coveted PAF humbuckers, offering a smooth, balanced vintage output with strong note definition.
It has been converted from its original Varitone configuration, with updated electronics that simplify the control layout and provide a more direct signal path. Additional changes include the neck pickup cover having been removed at one point and later reinstalled. Overall condition is very clean, with only minor signs of age that are mostly confined to the hardware, and the finish remains in notably good shape for its age.
Includes OHSC.
