Modifications/RepairsBoth pickups rewound, both have PAF stickers. Neck pickup spliced into circuit and the wire to the controls was replaced with insulated wire. A beautiful long guard Gibson ES-345 from the later part of 1959.  This guitar has a neck that is like a transitional carve between the super thing '60 necks and a thicker '59 profile.  It feels fantastic and the guitar plays great.   This instrument retains the original Varitone circuit and despite all that hardware in the guitar it only weighs eight pounds even.  The pickups are both PAF's that appear to have had the covers removed and re-installed at some point.  See the "Specs" profile of the guitar for all the changes.  This 345 comes with its original brown/pink hardshell case made by the Stone Case Company.
*When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
