This 2020 Gibson J-45 Studio delivers the familiar slope-shoulder feel and responsiveness of a classic J-45 in a more understated, contemporary package. It’s an easy-playing dreadnought up and down the neck, with a warm, rounded low end and clear, singing mids that work equally well for strumming and fingerstyle. A Sunrise pickup has been added, giving it a high-quality, stage-ready amplified voice that captures the guitar’s acoustic character with impressive detail. Some mild patina and a recent bridge reglue let you know that this guitar has been played in and remains ready for any level of performance. Includes OHSC.
