Description

A stunning 1958 Gibson Les Paul Custom, this example comes from the first generation of the model and retains the distinctive all-mahogany construction that set it apart from the Goldtop and Sunburst maple top Les Pauls. The ebony finish is complemented by the Custom’s multi-ply binding and gold hardware, giving the guitar its unmistakable appearance. The output jack plate and screws on this one have been replaced, and there is some light sanding to the finish around the pickup selector. However, it remains in very good condition with only very light signs of playing wear, making this an exceptionally clean example of an early Les Paul Custom.
