This 1926 Gibson Mastertone has been expertly converted to a 5-string, blending vintage character with modern playability. It features a high-quality replacement maple neck by Clancy Mullins with an ebony fingerboard, complete with spikes at the 7th and 9th frets for capoing ease. An unplated Sullivan Low Profile Flathead tone ring enhances the banjo’s punch and responsiveness, while the original ball bearing ring and neck is included for those seeking period-correct tone. Aged brass Golden Gate tuners provide smooth and reliable tuning stability.  

This Mastertone conversion delivers classic pre-war style with upgraded playability and tonal versatility, making it an outstanding choice for serious players and collectors alike. Comes with a non-original hybrid case.
