Description

This 1967 Gibson RB-170 is a no-frills open-back banjo built for clarity, projection, and easy playability. It features a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and a simple brass tension hoop over a multi-ply rim, delivering a warm, focused sound with plenty of old-time character. Lightweight and comfortable, it’s an excellent player’s banjo with the straightforward charm of Gibson’s folk-era designs.

Includes original Gibson Alligator chipboard case.
