Description

This 1964 Gibson SG Special is finished in Cherry and represents a fine example of Gibson’s lightweight double-cutaway design. The original wraparound tailpiece has been removed, with the former mounting holes filled, and a Music City bridge has been installed along with strap locks. The headstock has received a repair with overspray on both the front and back, while the original strap button has also been replaced. These changes give the guitar a practical playing setup while retaining the unmistakable look and feel of an early SG Special.
