Description

This 1981 Hamer Special is an early example of the American-made model, finished in Transparent Cherry over a figured maple top. The mahogany body and set neck are paired with a rosewood fingerboard and two humbuckers, giving the guitar a rich, punchy voice with plenty of character. Its double-cutaway body, dot inlays, and distinctive Sustain Block bridge give it a look all its own, while the unbound body keeps the appointments understated. A leather buffer has been added atop the neck pickup, and the guitar shows some player wear while remaining in good overall condition.
