This 1981 Ibanez Rocket Roll II captures the bold styling and high-output attitude that defined much of the early ’80s electric guitar market. Finished in Sunburst, the sharply angled body shape and oversized headstock give it the unmistakable visual identity that helped these models stand apart from more traditional single-cut and offset designs of the period. Beneath the flash, the guitar carries the solid construction and attention to detail that made upper-end Japanese-built Ibanez instruments increasingly respected during this era.

The dual humbucker setup delivers a thick, aggressive response with plenty of upper-mid presence, while the mahogany body adds weight and sustain behind the note. By the early 1980s, Ibanez had moved well beyond its reputation for copies and was building instruments with a personality all their own, and the Rocket Roll II remains one of the more memorable examples from that shift. This guitar shows notable player wear throughout, including buckle rash on the back.

Includes hard shell case.
