Modifications/RepairsNeck reset, refret, repro bridge, french polish finish throughout, long rim crack in upper treble shoulder, top removed and rebraced for steel strings (great luthier work in 1991 by R.A. Steinegger), 5 top cracks below bridge, top crack in upper bass shoulder, glued heel crack
Tech NotesAction is at 6/64" on Bass at 12th fret and 4.5/64" on Treble. This is comfortably low action, but it is worth noting the saddle is low without adjustability unless a neck reset is performed.
For the connoisseur and casual player alike, this comfortably sized Martin is structurally solid for silk and steel strings thanks to a 1990s restoration where it was rebraced with scalloped X-Bracing. These 0-28s are quite ornate with its herringbone trim and Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. It has a sweet tone and is surprisingly loud because of its deep body. If you are looking to add a smaller guitar to your stable, this piece of history is an excellent choice.

Comes in 80s HSC
