Martin C-3 1934, Shade Top

We present to you, one of the few surviving, in original form, C-3 archtops from Martin's prime. This 1934 C-3 archtop was restored by Joe Konkly, formerly of Elderly Music, many years ago and plays wonderfully thanks to it. The C-3 was at the top of the line for Martin at the time of its production. There were only 31 of these made in 1934 and it is fair to say that a large number of them have been converted to 000-28s and 000-42s. If you have been looking for one that hasn't been converted, this is your chance. Similarly, if you are looking for one to have converted to a flat top, this one has an incredible crack-free back and side set. These are gorgeous guitars and the craftsmanship is undeniable; any Martin history lover will get lost in all the intricate details.
