Description

This 2015 Martin D-28 1937 Authentic follows the pre-war template with a forward-shifted scalloped bracing pattern and traditional dreadnought dimensions. Built with an Adirondack spruce top and rosewood back and sides, it adheres closely to the materials and construction details of the original 1937 example. Period-style appointments, including a vintage-correct neck carve and long saddle bridge, round out the design. Out in-house repair team recently performed a neck reset and bridge reglue, resulting in excellent playability. A focused recreation from Martin’s Authentic series that stays true to the original layout and aesthetic. Cosmetically, it remains in excellent condition with little wear to note.
