This 1982 Monteleone Grand Artist is a beautifully handcrafted F-style mandolin by John Monteleone, featuring carved spruce and flamed maple for rich, resonant tone and impressive sustain. With refined body lines, elegant Art Deco styling, and exceptional playability, it represents Monteleone’s move from traditional replication to innovative design. A visually striking and sonically powerful instrument, showing tasteful signs of honest playwear with one repaired top crack next to the tongue extension and two small repaired cracks at the bottom of each F-hole. Comes with a First Quality Music hardshell case.
