THE LIMITED EDITION SHIPWRECK SERIES BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD Shipwreck Series from Preston Thompson Guitars features ultra-rare Brazilian Rosewood (Dalbergia nigra) salvaged from a 1930s shipwreck off the northern Atlantic coast of Brazil. Recovered by a salvage diver in 2005, these vintage logs were originally harvested in the 1930s and bound for Europe before the ship went down
Being submerged in seawater for decades leached out natural resins and impurities, allowing the wood fibers to dry, cure, and vibrate more freely than standard aged tonewoods.

An acoustic guitar like this comes around maybe once in a lifetime, a truly amazing find for the left handed acoustic player!
