This 1994 PRS Custom CE 24 Alex Lifeson Model, finished in Swamp Green, is one of just 25 produced, with this example numbered 8 in the run. Built during a period when PRS was still a relatively small operation, it features a bolt-on maple neck paired with an alder body, offering a slightly different response compared to the company’s set-neck designs. The guitar is equipped with PRS humbuckers and a tremolo bridge, staying true to the specifications associated with Lifeson’s preferences at the time. The Swamp Green finish sets it apart visually, especially when combined with the figured maple top. A distinctive piece from PRS’s early artist collaborations, this CE 24 captures a specific moment in the company’s development as well as Alex Lifeson’s influence on the brand during the mid-1990s.
