From January of 1967, this Rickenbacker 310 comes to us is beautifully original condition. The 1960s being the golden era of the company, this 3/4 size guitar makes an eye-catching impression with its shaded fireglo finish, and features asymmetrical cutaways, dotted rosewood fretboard, double-line Kluson tuners, traditional "F" sound hole, "toaster top" pickups, and a signature "R" tailpiece among other classic Ric specifications. The pickups provide the ubiquitous Rickenbacker sound, and original frets and fretboard finish contribute to a smooth feel up and down the neck.
Records indicate that these guitars were produced in the low double digits between 1964 and 1968, which would connote only a handful made for the production year of 1967. Beyond the fundamental rarity of this model, the fact that this specimen remains in spectacular condition - with only the most minor wear, mostly on the back - is a true gift for players and collectors across the board. Adjacently, the original silver case with faux alligator ends and plush blue interior is included in equally ideal condition.
