Rickenbacker 360 Capri 1959, Fireglo

This 1959 Rickenbacker 360 Capri is an early example of the deluxe Capri design, with the thick bound Maple body, Rosewood fingerboard, large triangle inlays, and pair of toaster pickups that define these late-’50s instruments. The Fireglo finish shows checking throughout, while the pickguard has cracking that has been stabilized, but overall it remains in very good vintage condition. The bridge pickup has been repaired, and the original jumper caps were removed to improve the guitar’s tone, with the caps included in the case. Early 360 Capris like this have a distinctive look and feel that set them apart from the later, slimmer Rickenbacker designs.
