This 2024 Roy McAlister Baritone is a hand-built acoustic designed around the same specifications Roy McAlister developed for a custom baritone made for Jackson Browne. A German spruce top is paired with Madagascar rosewood back and sides, while the mahogany neck features an ebony fingerboard, dual carbon fiber reinforcement rods, and a 27" scale length that provides the tension and response expected from a baritone instrument. Gotoh 510 tuners and an ebony bridge complete the understated appointments, with an emphasis on quality materials and clean execution rather than ornamentation. Presented in excellent condition with no modifications or repairs, this guitar includes its original Hiscox hardshell case and offers a refined interpretation of the modern acoustic baritone from one of today's respected independent builders.
