Fender HSS Strat Journeyman Masterbuilt Owned by Ben Harper 2026, Transparent Sonic Blue

This 2026 Fender Custom Shop HSS Stratocaster is a Masterbuilt instrument featuring a Transparent Sonic Blue finish with Journeyman Relic treatment. The translucent nitrocellulose lacquer showcases the grain of its lightweight two-piece ash body, giving a familiar Fender custom color a distinctive presentation. A rift-sawn maple neck with a AAA rosewood fingerboard features a '60s Oval C profile and compound 7.25"–9.5" radius. The HSS pickup configuration pairs a Shawbucker at the bridge with El Diablo single-coils in the middle and neck positions, offering a versatile range of sounds from traditional Stratocaster clarity to fuller humbucker tones. A two-point Custom Classic tremolo and vintage-style tuners complete this thoughtfully specified Masterbuilt Stratocaster.
