Description

By 1958, Fender’s Precision Bass had become an established part of the electric bass landscape, combining a solidbody design with a single split-coil pickup and a comfortable, practical layout. This example wears a classic 3-Tone Sunburst finish, complemented by a Maple neck and dark Rosewood fingerboard. The bass has had an additional string tree installed at some point, with the mounting hole now plugged, and the pickup was removed and subsequently reinstalled. It remains in excellent condition, with only very light playing wear, and plays great. A particularly clean late-’50s Precision Bass with plenty of vintage appeal.

Includes original tweed case with tin "Fender" tag.
