Description

This all original Fender Stratocaster is from 1956. Key words: all original. This guitar, except for the strings, is exactly as it left Fullerton in '56. That's a rare statement to make these days. All the solder joints under the guard are original, original finish, frets, tuners, the Bakelite parts... all original. This Strat is very lightweight at 7.2 pounds. It features an early alder body with the classic late '56/early '57 body contours. The neck is a very pronounced "V" profile and it's very comfortable to play. The guitar has a low action and sounds incredible. The original pickups channel classic Strat tones in all 3 positions. Balance the original 3 position switch in an in-between position and the classic out of phase sounds are there for days. The guitar comes with it's original tweed hardshell case.
