Fender Telecaster 1968, Dakota Red

This 1968 Fender Telecaster features a Dakota Red refin over the original body, giving the guitar a distinctive appearance while retaining the character of a late-’60s Telecaster. The body was previously routed for a neck humbucker and has since been returned to its current pickup configuration, with the neck pickup, pickguard, saddles, knobs, switch, and pots all replaced. A refret and new nut make for a comfortable playing feel, and the guitar has been set up as a strong player with plenty of usable Telecaster tones. It remains in very good condition overall and is a great-sounding example with a number of updates from its original configuration.
