This 1931 Gibson L-2 has the dry woody tone of an early Gibson, with substantial repair to keep in stable and playable. This guitar has many cracks, that have all been address. Numerous cleats have been installed to keep them stable. There was a neck reset and refret performed as well to ensure solid playability. There is evidence of a tailpiece being previously installed, leading us to believe it was converted to a rosewood bridge. The repairs have resulted in a stable and great-playing guitar that packs a perfect midrange punch.
Includes OHSC.
