This 1965 Gibson SG Jr. has some cool features:  The neck has a nut width of 1&11/16th, the guitar is featherweight at 5.6 pounds, and last but not least it has a very hot pickup that's tripping the meter at 8.9K.  If ever a guitar was ready to rock, it's this one.  The neck profile feels like a '64, so in other words it's pretty much perfect.  It's got fresh frets and a new nut so playability is perfect.  Issues?  As previously mentioned, it's been refretted and the nut's replaced and there's a little bit of touch-up paint on the edge of the front headstock.  There's nothing like old wood with new frets and great playability.  The guitar's finish has been buffed at some point.  We initially thought overspray but the finish is totally original except for the the little areas of black touch-up on the headstock.  The guitar comes in a new(er) hardshell case.
