This 1951 Martin 000-18 is a wonderful vintage guitar with a warm, open voice and plenty of character. It has that classic 000 feel, comfortable in the hands, easy to hold, and very responsive to a lighter touch. The tone is rich and balanced, with a woody warmth in the mids, clear and articulate trebles, and a satisfying depth on the lower strings without sounding boomy. It has a relaxed, broken-in quality that you only get from a well-aged instrument, and it responds beautifully whether you’re fingerpicking, strumming, or playing more dynamically. There are dings and scratches throughout, consistent with its age, but the guitar is structurally stable and plays and sounds great. For the full list of repairs, please refer to the Specs tab.
