This 1937 Martin 000-18 in Natural is a special pre-war Martin with a wonderfully seasoned feel and a voice that really comes alive in the hands. Martin produced only 303 000-18 guitars in 1937, and the scalloped bracing gives these guitars their renowned warmth, openness, and responsiveness, making them exceptional fingerstyle instruments. This example has seen a fair amount of professional work over the years, including a refret, new nut and saddle, neck reset, neck reshaping with the finish sanded back, replacement G tuner post and gear, replacement bridge, rosewood bridge plate cap, and replacement bridge pins. The strap button area on the heel has been repaired, with a new strap button added to the treble side. There is also overspray on the peghead face and around the heel. It shows honest wear throughout, including pick marks and pick rash, dings, scratches, and belt buckle rash, while remaining stable and in good condition. The sound is warm, open, and incredibly responsive, with the kind of broken-in character that makes a pre-war Martin so rewarding to play.

Comes with HSC (Original G post and gear case) 3 Original bridge pins in case.
