Modifications/RepairsReplacement Bone Nut and Saddle (not radiused), refret, K&K pickup installed, replacement oversized bridge, indention on upper bass rim, top repair in lower treble side (4"), 2" crack on lower bass top, strap button, top overspray, 14" reglued side crack (bass) with 4 cleats
Tech NotesThe neck was "overset" and will need to be reset with a shallower pitch. The action is currently 3/64ths on Bass and 4/64ths on Treble with an improperly radiused saddle. This guitar would also benefit from a refret to address the buzzing. The bridge plate should be plugged/glued where the ball ends rest (they are sinking into the plate).
*AS-IS* In 1967, this was the highest end Martin one could get. It had binding on the fretboard and 3 back panels; which also cleverly allowed the use of smaller sections of Brazilian Rosewood that would become exhausted from factory supply by 1970. This 1967 Martin D-35 comes from early enough in the model's launch in 1965 that it still has a maple bridge plate and tortoise pickguard. These guitars are boomy and warm.

Comes in modern Martin Soft Case (Gig Bag)

This example is being sold As-Is and has not been worked on by CVG staff. We have created a list of what the guitar needs, visible in the "Tech Notes" section.
